Kaifeng Zhang's Waxwork Studio is using a new technology to make bodies of wax&silica gel figures. Characteristics: pose of the body can be changed more easily, and then it can be connected with props perfectly. Framework of the body is welded with steel bars, and then it is covered with glass steel. This new body lasts eight times longer than traditional body that is made of glass steel. Characteristics of traditional body: pose of the body can not be changed after being finished, so most of the time it can not be connected with props naturally.  The figure will look stiff in that way.  Glass steel is too flimsy to be the material of framework of body,  so this kind of body can not last long (our studio does not use the traditional body any more).
